Liturgy Participation Kindergarten through eighth grade are assigned liturgy participation in the daily Reading, Prayer of the Faithful, and Holy Communion gift bearers in our all-school masses held each week.
Altar Serving Fourth-grade to eighth-grade students may take the instruction to become altar servers. These students are assigned to daily and weekend masses. For most weekday funerals, our middle school students are called upon to altar serve. A SERRA Club Server Award is presented to eighth-grade students who are recognized for their dedication and service at Mass.
Music Ministry Students in grades three to eight are invited to join our school choir. Additionally, students in grades six to eight have the opportunity to serve as cantors during Mass. Our talented teachers, Mrs. Adamsky and Ms. Oppenheimer, share their beautiful gifts of music and song, leading the children in this meaningful and rewarding ministry for our school. Stations of the Cross Every Friday during Lent, the students pray the Stations of the Cross together, and the sixth graders lead the living stations. Rosary Services Students unite in prayer, embracing the rosary throughout the year, with a special focus on the months of Mary—October and May—celebrating faith and devotion.
