At Saint Agatha School, faith isn't just a subject- it's the foundation of everything we do.Catholic education aims to instill hope in students through prayer, liturgy, study, service, and community, guiding them to lead lives of holiness, peace, virtue, and joy.
Daily Life:
At Saint Agatha, everything starts and ends with prayer. Students are encouraged to take a moment to reflect meaningfully, allowing them to begin and conclude their day with gratitude and intention. Classes frequently pause for spontaneous or purposeful prayer, particularly before meals or tests. Faith-based values are integral to daily conversations, guiding students in their behavior, friendships, and decision-making.
In the classroom, students receive daily religious instruction in accordance with the directives from the Diocesan Office of Religious Education and Catechesis. Our religious studies emphasize Social Justice and the Corporal Works of Mercy, ensuring that appropriate service opportunities are available for all grades.
Weekly Life:
Students participate in weekly Mass as a school community. Each grade is given the opportunity to take part in the liturgy through readings, altar serving, choir, and Eucharistic adoration.
Monthly and Yearly Experiences:
Opportunities for Reconciliation are offered throughout the year, especially during Advent and Lent. Students actively participate in service projects, learning to live their faith through action. Rosary prayer services and saint feast days bring the liturgical calendar to life. Seasonal events such as the Stations of the Cross, May Crowning, and Advent prayer services help students experience the Church year with reverence and joy. Catholic Schools Week is a joyful annual celebration of faith, service, and school spirit.
