PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
A graduate of Saint Andrew Catholic School and Bishop Watterson High School, Miss Fisher values Catholic education and has been teaching elementary children for three years. Fisher holds degrees from The Ohio State University and the University of Dayton and has the following teaching philosophy, “As a student-centered teacher, I believe that teaching the whole child requires that the foundation of education be rooted in care and mutual respect, as well as in the valuing of the funds of knowledge and abilities of each child, with Christ at the core. In this way, the needs of the children may be adequately met within a community of learners and in cooperation with the child's first educators, his or her parents.” In her free time, Miss Fisher reads, cooks, runs, bikes, watches movies and spends time with family. She resides in Powell.
