In her 22nd year as an educator, Anne Connon has taught students at the elementary, high school and college levels. At St. Agatha, Anne is the Middle School Latin teacher and the K-5th grade Spanish teacher. Her background in Latin arose through her training as an historian specializing in medieval Irish history and literature. In her role as a historian, Connon was the 2015 Michael Adams Award winner for the best academic article published internationally in the field of Irish Medieval Studies. Connon has published more than 25 academic articles, book chapters and encylopedia entries and is an experienced speaker on medieval Irish history and literature. She maintains her academic interests through an affiliation with University College Cork, Ireland, where she acts as an advisor to graduate students in the field of medieval studies. At St. Agatha Anne wants to instill in her students an excitement about learning as they build a strong foundation in the basics of language acquisition. For enjoyment, she likes to read and cook. Ms. Connon and her husband, Rick Graff, reside in Upper Arlington along with their two children who attend St. Agatha School and St. Charles Preparatory School.
