PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
A graduate of The Ohio State University, Ms. Gerth is in her fourteenth year of teaching and her sixth year of teaching Preschool at St. Agatha School. With her teaching certification in Early Childhood Education, she prepares our students for the grade school classroom. As an early childhood educator, Ms. Gerth loves having the opportunity to play one of the most important roles in a child’s educational career. Ms. Gerth likes teaching the children about the world of learning and feels blessed to have the chance to broaden their academic interests. Furthermore, Ms. Gerth believes in making strong relationships with students and their families in and out of the classroom. One of her goals is to help students get acclimated to the school environment. Her students will learn how to be comfortable in a school setting, learn to be in a group setting, work with others as well as independently, and learn what to expect in a classroom setting. She and her students will be hands-on, even if that means getting messy, to spark curiosity and better help academic growth. She wants every student in her classroom to know they are loved and that each day is a new day. For enjoyment, she likes to play and watch sports. Ms.Gerth is originally from Columbus, Ohio and she resides in Columbus.
