PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
Starting her 23rd year at Saint Agatha School, Mrs. Veronica Stemen is an Upper Arlington Golden Apple Award in education recipient. Over her first 21 years at Saint Agatha, she taught grades ranging from 1-7 before becoming the school principal in 2023. Mrs. Stemen strives to have strong leadership by guiding, motivating, and supporting both staff and students while fostering a positive school culture. She is an effective communicator with clear, open, and empathetic communication with teachers, students, parents, and the wider community to ensure everyone is informed and connected. Lastly, she has a vision for student success. She has a commitment to academic excellence and student well-being, with a focus on creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every student can thrive.
In her spare time, she serves on her women’s service group, Soroptimist. She also enjoys baking and reading, especially in the summer months. Both of Mrs. Stemen’s sons, Luke and Troy, graduated from Saint Agatha School and Bishop Watterson. She resides in Hilliard.
