PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
Starting her 6th year in the Columbus Diocese and fourth year at St. Agatha as a third grade teacher, Ms. Oppenheimer earned her undergraduate degree in elementary education from Franciscan University. She has done postgraduate work in education through Ohio Dominican University and University of La Verne. Additionally, she has served as a pastoral musician in both Columbus and Cincinnati. Ms. Oppenheimer’s educational philosophy is that each student is a unique individual who flourishes in the classroom when the academic, social, spiritual, mental, and physical needs of the child are considered. Her goal is to create a classroom where individual development is supported while using teaching methods that reach all learners. She supports students in their various stages of growth and development, encourages their curiosity, and gives the opportunity for each student to see daily success and achievement. In her spare time, Ms. Oppenheimer enjoys spending time with her 3 daughters, hiking, and playing the piano and organ.
